Daily Walks with Christ

The Lord listens to you even when you aren’t praying.

In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express. – Romans 8:26

Last night I was feeling a bit dismay, I felt as though I wasn’t helping anyone, so in turn I didn’t feel worthy of God’s love. I have come to realize that when I feel discouraged He’ll lift me up, by sending someone to cheer me up, if I am out and about it’s usually a smile, a good morning from someone on the street or He’ll put someone in my life to encourage and witness to, which usually brightens my day to know that I have helped someone.

So this morning an old friend of mine sent me a message about a friend of his who is trying to turn his life around from living a homosexual lifestyle. Knowing that the Lord sent him to me to water his seed is an ultimate blessing, this makes me feel that the Lord has confirmed me and trusts me, He loves me and is showing me that I am worthy.

Another thing I have noticed about my Father is that he teaches you what to say.

Now go; I will help you speak and will teach you what to say.” – Exodus 4:12

I have come to notice that the Lord will prepare you years, months, weeks, or days before you need to encourage or witness, it is amazing how you’ll be nervous saying to yourself “what will I say” but once you start, The Spirit of God will remind you with a quickness what to say.

But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. – John 14:26

The Lord works in all aspects of our lives, whether it be face to face or online, all you have to do is take the first step and He’ll take care of the rest, each step we take toward Him is a victory step.
